Help! Toe infection---- NOT Fungal!?

I had an ingrown toenail but I cut it out. But I have an infection where the nail cut into. Its not a fungal infection because its not on the nail its in the corner and is only sore on the skin. I had this infection last year and got antibiotics from the doctor but I dont want to go back because they take a while to work. I can hardly walk! Is there any way I can ease the pain so I can get to the doctors on Monday? Thats another reason I cant go to the doc, the surgery is shut till monday! Please help me find short term relief!
