How the crap does she get into all these good COLLEGES?

ok well i went to an international school for ayear last year,and now im back in the states. this girl, who aactually clubs like EVERY weekend but she maintained a 3.95 gpa with like NO extra curriculars. maybe like she was in "roots and shoots" club. thats IT. and she partied EVERY WEEKEND. no extra curriculars. and she got into GEORGETOWN, USC and UC berkeley?????? i dont understand! is it easier to get in if ur international?? cuz she realyl had nothing except the grades which isnt well rounded at all. maybe her standardized tests such as SATs were good but nothing else! does anyone know how she got in or perhaps WHY????
