Does the narcissist think all his victims are stupid?

Does someone with Narcissistic Personality Disorder see everyone else as equally stupid, or does he consider some to be more of a "challenge" than others? For example, does he think he's better to have manipulated a smart, strong person than a wimpy one? In my case, I'm the smart one who told him to take a hike. I wonder if now he realizes that only a weak stupid person with no self-respect would allow herself to be manipulated by him. I wonder if I was the ultimate challenge and he'll have to find an easier supply next time. thoughts?
