Is my friend gay/will he want a long term relationship with me?

my friend whom ive known since 1st grade where theres been several instances to make me think hes gay like peeing next to me with all his stuff out, smiling at me in my eyes, and me hugging him on my bed for mins. so today ,at the beach, we were alone in the condo. we smiled at each others eyes, he was on the couch, and i was on the ground, across from each other watching the baseballgame. i watched his eyes and they kept going straight to my d i c k!!! lol cuz there was a lump cuz i was semi hard. he couldnt stop looking it seemed like. then , i was tickling him on the ground with my feet and he grabbed my legs. i would like touch him and he just kinda went with it, eg if i push him hed fall over, on the couch. however, there seemed like no effort on his part to flirt cept starin at my stuff and smilin. is he gay? not gay? just shy? next time were alone should i just hug him.p.s., his mom says he shy but he talks around me but not alot
