Why are there so many Atheists in the R&S Section questioning and patronizing Christianity?

Seriously lol. There are so many insulting other peoples beliefs and trying to find flaws in peoples beliefs, why? If these atheists are so firm on believing there is no God then why do they question and insult everything and anything about it, especially Christianity? I see no Christians insulting atheists and what they believe which might seem close minded, where does all this hate come from? Its ok to question someones beliefs but a lot of it here is hateful and patronizing.
