Would you please correct the sentences below!?

This is such a mess that "correction" is not the right word. There's almost a complete lack of knowledge of verbs, prepositions, idiom, and vocabulary. This writer needs a tutor and a LOT of reading in English before he's ready to tackle anything this complex. It's like watching somebody drown in two inches of water.
